Blue Talent Day takes place on March 13th, the second day of the Belgian Offshore Days. This initiative is a collaboration of POM West-Vlaanderen with Belgian Offshore Cluster, The Reef, and Economisch Huis Oostende. During Blue Talent Day, students and job seekers will discover the job opportunities and internships the participating companies have to offer. Educational institutions will present their specific training programs leading to jobs in the blue economy sector. The focus will be on short-term training courses for employees and students.

• Visit to the Coastal Ocean Basin
• Company visit to e-BO Enterprises Ostend with lunch

Afternoon

For companies, students, and job seekers at the Belgian Offshore Days

13:30 – 14:20

• Blue Talent meets industry: Pitches from participating companies for students and job seekers
  • WindEurope: Launch of a job platform for students

14:30 – 15:20

• Training for Blue Talent: Presentation of specific training courses in the sector
• The Reef:
• Masterclass on digital twin technology
• Introduction to offshore wind
• Inspiration session on AI for the ORE (Offshore Renewable Energy) industry
• Howest: Cybersecurity
• Deftiq: Online training for the ORE sector
• Syntra West: Marine coordinator and wind turbine technician training
• Vives: Drone applications

15:30 – 16:30

• Meet & Greet
• Guided tour for students to participating companies (only for Belgian Offshore Days exhibitors)
